Position Summary:
The A La Carte Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items during lunch and dinner service in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. This position plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality food while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the kitchen.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute all assigned a la carte menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Set up and stock assigned station prior to service.
Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow line cooks during service.
Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and storage as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
Properly label, date, and store all food products.
Support special events and banquets when required.

Qualifications:

Previous line cook or a la carte cooking experience preferred.
Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a private club, hotel, or high-volume restaurant environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
